New to Mac Community Event at St. Jerome's University
290 Westmount Rd. North Waterloo
Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM - Room 3014
WatRMUG and Carbon Computing are hosting a free, full day seminar covering all the ins-and-outs of your Mac. Parking is free, the event is free, and it's a great way to get the answers to burning questions like: "How do I look up a word in the dictionary right from the desktop?" or "how do I right-click on my Macbook?". If you have a new Mac and need to learn a bit more about how to get started, or are a long-time Mac User looking for a refresher - there's an event for that!

New User Seminars - Fall 2011, Spring 2012
Last year we had more new Mac Users than ever before, to help our new users get more comfortable with MacOS we've decided that this year for the last half of every meeting we'll be offering separate New User seminars led by one of our more experienced members. Participation in the New User seminars is completely voluntary and open to all paid members or paid guests, regardless of skill level and will cover basic computing and MacOS plus the opportunity to ask questions and help learning what questions to ask!
WatRMUG New to Mac Event - March 4th 2011
Our first New To Mac community event was a great success with around 25 new Mac users out to learn the basics of living with a Mac! We'll do this again soon, but until then, check out the resources posted as attachments below...
